Hi,

I'm Dominik, a software developer living and working in Freiburg, Germany.

My current interests are Agile Development, Ruby and other dynamic languages, and Rails. Despite this my day-to-day work is mostly in Java (though I'm sneaking in Ruby through all backdoors...). My current employer is http://www.interactive-objects.com where I am part of the R&D team.

During my spare time I'm working on a social webapp (well, who is not working on one of those?) which should (by all means) be launched this year.

Actually I have studied music theory, korean studies and traditional korean music in Karlsruhe, Tuebingen and Seoul. As a kid I had started programming BASIC on an ZX80 and continued to program on different platforms, mainly on music and DSP applications. With the advent of the internet, my interest got a new jumpstart and after I had finished my studies I decided to join a small startup and after that things just developed.

When I'm not programming I'm spending my time with my wife, practicing piano and Geomungo, reading and going to concerts.
